2020 Debate: Biden’s Gaffes and Attacks Part 1

While The First 2020 Presidential Debate was an utter disaster in terms of debating, with President Trump having to debate with moderator Chris Wallace of FOX News as much as the Democrat Nominee. Former Vice President Joe Biden. Wallace constantly allowed Biden to tell blatant lies, then not allowing the President to defend himself. President Trump needs to learn how to pick his battles, and when he doesn’t actually need to defend something because it isn’t as important as other claims. Former Vice President Biden, starting the debate by greeting the President of the United States of America with a disrespectful, “How you doing, man,” before spending the night usually directing his insults to The President to the camera. Though there are quotes from The President that were not worthy in the debate, and he wasn’t exactly an angel up there, trading insults on occasion himself. Surely he was the debater that interrupted more, but everyone already knows President Trump’s crassness already. I don’t think it is actually noteworthy to write about his remarks such as, “Did you use the word smart? […] don’t use the word ‘smart’ with me” because it was expected of him. Biden on the other hand may have surprised his far-Left supporters with his inability to speak to The President during the debate instead of speaking to Wallace and the camera, or maybe they don’t care because “Biden’s a decent guy.”

A couple aspects of the debate that bothered me was the fact that Chris Wallace called the Former Vice President, Vice President Biden. Biden is not the sitting Vice President, and current Vice President Mike Pence is deserving the respect of the moderator. There were many loaded questions directed at The President while not so much towards Former Vice President Biden, such as asking President Trump if he would denounce white supremacy yet again, yet Wallace didn’t speak out against Biden’s claim of Antifa being an idea and not an organization.

Here are some of Biden’s more memorable lines during Part 1 of the debate:

President Trump was being asked about his decision to do as The United States Constitution dictates, and choose a nominee for the next Supreme Court Justice, after the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg. Agreeing with RBG’s opinion years ago he said, “As far as a say is concerned, the American people have already had their say. … I’m not elected for (just) 3-1/2 years.” Curiously, Joe Biden replied with an absurd idea that The President does not have Presidential duties during an election year:

“He’s elected until the next election. … The election’s already started.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

President Trump told Biden that he had adopted Bernie Sander’s far-left ‘socialized medicine,’ otherwise known as universal healthcare, which Biden denied:

“The fact of the matter is, I beat Bernie Sanders, I’m here standing facing you buddy, […] the fact is that everything he’s saying so far is simply a lie, I’m not here to call out his lies. Everybody knows he’s a liar.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

President Trump disagreed with his misleading statements that are contrary to the ideas his party his put out saying, “your party doesn’t say it. Your party wants to go socialist medicine and socialist healthcare.” Former Vice President Biden awkwardly declared:

“The party is me. Right now, I am the Democratic Party. I am the Democratic Party right now.The platform of the Democratic Party is what I, in fact, approved of, what I approved of.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

In another little quibble between The President and Former Vice President, after President Trump told Biden “you’d be surprised” after Biden made a comment about Trump not being capable of allowing someone to finish speaking, he says an out of place, and almost a veiled threat:

“You picked the wrong guy, on the wrong night, at the wrong time”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

Chris Wallace, in a rare loaded question directed towards Biden asked, “if Senate Republicans go ahead and confirm Justice Barrett there has been talk about ending the filibuster or even packing the court, adding to the nine justices there. You call this a distraction by the President. But, in fact, it wasn’t brought up by the President. It was brought up by some of your Democratic colleagues in the Congress. So my question to you is, you have refused in the past to talk about it, are you willing to tell the American tonight whether or not you will support either ending the filibuster or packing the court?” Biden danced around the question, directing his nonanswer to the camera, once again, and said:

“Whatever position I take on that, that’ll become the issue. The issue is the American people should speak. […] I’m not going to answer the question”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

In an ironically un-presidential moment, Joe Biden actually told The President of the United States to ‘shut up’ after Trump pushed him on not answering the question about the filibuster and packing The Supreme Court. While being pressed by The President, Biden literally says:

“Will you shut up, man? This is so un-presidential. […] Keep yapping, man.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

One of the funniest quotes, and possibly the most ironic quote of the night, was in response to President Donald Trump’s COVID-19 response. The man who spent the majority of the year being called “Hidin’ Biden,” stemming from the notion that he rarely leaves his basement except for brief press conferences where he doesn’t allow the media to ask candid questions (if they get a chance for any questions at all), actually said these words:

“You should get out of your bunker”

This is a civil war between Communism and America. There is no more Democrat vs Republican right now. America needs to be united in the party of Patriots who believe in our constitution and the inherent right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

The radical Left has thrown their hail Mary, and we need to get our heads in the game and intercept that pass before it’s too late. Whether or not you believe Orange Man Bad, The Republicans who followed President Donald J Trump are the only hope for remaining a constitutional republic.

NEVER FORGET: They are Rights enumerated to remind us and our government of our innate and indisputable liberties that are granted to us by our Creator, not our government; NEVER to be infringed or impinged upon by elected officials nor bureaucratic narcissists, ALWAYS as protection for We The People from tyranny and despotism at even the highest level of our hierarchical structure.
