2020 Debate: Biden’s Gaffes and Attacks Part 2

While The First 2020 Presidential Debate was an utter disaster in terms of debating, with President Trump having to debate with moderator Chris Wallace of FOX News as much as the Democrat Nominee. Former Vice President Joe Biden. Wallace constantly allowed Biden to tell blatant lies, then not allowing the President to defend himself. President Trump needs to learn how to pick his battles, and when he doesn’t actually need to defend something because it isn’t as important as other claims. Former Vice President Biden, starting the debate by greeting the President of the United States of America with a disrespectful, “How you doing, man,” before spending the night usually directing his insults to The President to the camera. Though there are quotes from The President that were not worthy in the debate, and he wasn’t exactly an angel up there, trading insults on occasion himself. Surely he was the debater that interrupted more, but everyone already knows President Trump’s crassness already. I don’t think it is actually noteworthy to write about his remarks such as, “Did you use the word smart? […] don’t use the word ‘smart’ with me” because it was expected of him. Biden on the other hand may have surprised his far-Left supporters with his inability to speak to The President during the debate instead of speaking to Wallace and the camera, or maybe they don’t care because “Biden’s a decent guy.”

A couple aspects of the debate that bothered me was the fact that Chris Wallace called the Former Vice President, Vice President Biden. Biden is not the sitting Vice President, and current Vice President Mike Pence is deserving the respect of the moderator. There were many loaded questions directed at The President while not so much towards Former Vice President Biden, such as asking President Trump if he would denounce white supremacy yet again, yet Wallace didn’t speak out against Biden’s claim of Antifa being an idea and not an organization.

Here are some of Biden’s more memorable lines during Part 2 of the debate:

President Trump challenged Biden on his view on opening up schools after Chris Wallace asked him about it. Biden actually said that the Democrats, instead of how people like Pelosi have literally said they wouldn’t give him the time of day because he doesn’t deserve it. Yet Joe Biden took it upon himself to use the same argument he used throughout the debate- that President Trump doesn’t have a plan. Apparently Biden doesn’t hold the belief that the Senate and state and local governments aren’t under the dictating thumb of The President of the United States. He doesn’t have supreme power to force them to allow opening of schools, and if he made an executive order to that point he would be dubbed a dictator. However, Joe stuck with:

“Nancy Pelosi and Schumer, they have a plan. He won’t even meet with them. The Republicans won’t meet in the Senate. He sits in his golf course. Well, I mean, literally, think about it. Think about it.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

The man who declared that the entire country be shut down, on video, until November 9th, said The President, who he accused of wanting to prematurely open up the country later remarks:

“He’ll close down the whole country. This guy will close down the whole country and destroy our country. Our country is coming back incredibly well, setting records as it does it. We don’t need somebody to come in and say, ‘Let’s shut it down.'”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

When President Trump was asked how much he paid in taxes in 2016 and 2017, Trump replied that he had paid “millions of dollars,” which according to the New York Times is true (however he used write-off Biden backed to pay the bare minimum in federal income tax) if you look further down in the article beyond their misleading headline. He also admitted that like any other American he wasn’t trying to pay more in taxes than he legally needed to. Biden said:

“He said he’s smart because he can take advantage of the tax code and he does take advantage of the tax code, that’s why I’m going to eliminate the Trump tax cuts”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

President Trump asked Former Senator and Former Vice President Biden why he “didn’t do that in the last 25 years,” Biden’s retort was:

“Because you are President screwing thing up. You’re the worst president America’s ever had – c’mon.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

I included this screenshot of the transcripts from the debate because it was pretty funny that in less than two seconds, Biden forgot what number he was on, and moved on to the number three; the President calling him on it was hilarious.

Biden tried to push back against President Trump, sometimes looking right at the camera to directly address viewers rather than the president and inadvertently insulted him to the viewers at home. When interrupted yet again by The President (who constantly had to defend himself from Biden’s lies), the Former Vice President looks into the camera and says,

“Well, it’s hard to get any word in with this clown. Excuse me, this person.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

The President repeatedly pressed the Former Vice President on why his son, Hunter Biden, received $3.5 million dollars from the Moscow and $183,000 per month to work for corrupt Ukrainian gas company Burisma though inexperienced. Biden stated that it was false and discredited by the media, as though that holds more weight than the recently released government documents regarding the investigation into Burisma. Instead, Biden tries to skirt around the family talk while backhandedly attacking the President’s family, as though they haven’t been under attack by the media and Democrats for the past 4 years:

“Look, here’s the deal. We want to talk about families and ethics. I don’t want to do that. I mean, his family, we could talk about all night.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

Biden was asked, “why should voters trust you rather than your opponent to deal with the race issues facing this country over the next four years,” all he did was say, “It’s about equity and equality. It’s about decency. It’s about the constitution. And we have never walked away from trying to require equity for everyone, equality for the whole of America,” saying President Trump walked away from racial relations, and describing a torch and pitchfork mob riot. However, Biden said this is the moment that he decided to join the race, taking a short clip of a long quote out of context, leaving out the many times he literally condemned the Neo-Nazis and white supremacists:

“A young woman got killed and they asked the president what he thought. He said, “There were very fine people on both sides.” No president’s ever said anything like that.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden
President Trump condemning white supremacists in very quote Biden was incorrectly quoting.

He continued on to say that President Trump was divisive and falsely described a scene of the President using tear gas to clear a path to take a photo opp followed by:

“This is a president who has used everything as a dog whistle to try to generate racist hatred, racist division.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

While speaking on President Trump’s racial relations he threw in his own facts for COVID-19 as well, leaving off 700 of 1,700 (13.4% of the 327 million population makes approx. 43,818,000 black people in the US. 25,484 black people have died from COVID-19 related illness. 25,424 goes into the 43,818,000 population 1,723 times), and somehow managing to blame the President for the races that are more succeptible to dying of COVID-19:

“one in 1,000 African Americans has been killed because of the coronavirus. And if he doesn’t do something quickly, by the end of the year, one in 500 will have been killed. One in 500 African Americans. This man is as a savior of African-Americans? This man cares at all?”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

President Trump correctly called out the Former Vice President on his inability to say ‘law enforcement’ or call for law and order saying, “You can’t even say the words law enforcement. Because if you say those words, you’re going to lose all of your radical left supporters.” The awkward response from Biden was about how he’ll end racism by putting everyone in a room with him to work it out. Ending with a statement that contradicts his campaign, including Vice Presidential Nominee Kamala Harris, fundraising to bail out violent rioters and even child rapists:

“Violence in response is never appropriate. Never appropriate. Peaceful protest is, violence is never appropriate.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

When pressed again by President Trump on if he is in favor of law and order, he quite literally says he’s only in favor of a little bit of order:

“I’m in favor of law, you following it, and a little bit of order.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

President Trump said, “It is crazy what’s going on and he doesn’t want to say law and order because he can’t because he’ll lose his radical left supporters and once he does that, it’s over with. But if he ever got to run this country and they ran it the way he would want to run it, we would have by the way our suburbs would be gone.” Mentioning growing up in Scranton multiple times in the debate in an attempt to connect with We The People, though only living there until he was eleven years old:

“He wouldn’t know a suburb unless he took a wrong turn. I know suburbs.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

Then, in an effort to contradict his own statements in regards to race in our nation, Biden goes on about how great race relations are by stating the obvious about reality. Not to mention, he was out of Scranton by 1953; that aside, he isn’t making a great argument for racial tension being worse than ever under President Trump:

“I was raised in the suburbs. This is not 1950. All these dog whistles and racism don’t work anymore. Suburbs are by and large integrated. There’s many people today driving their kids to soccer practice and/or black and white and Hispanic in the same car as there have been any time in the past”

Former Vice President Joe Biden

Biden insisted that it wasn’t true that he didn’t have the support of any law enforcement, so President Trump challenged him with, “Oh, really, who do you have name one group that supports you name one group that came out and supported you. Go ahead.” There was a deer in the headlights look from Biden and an awkward silence before saying:

“We don’t have time for that. […] We don’t have time to do anything.”

This is a civil war between Communism and America. There is no more Democrat vs Republican right now. America needs to be united in the party of Patriots who believe in our constitution and the inherent right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

The radical Left has thrown their hail Mary, and we need to get our heads in the game and intercept that pass before it’s too late. Whether or not you believe Orange Man Bad, The Republicans who followed President Donald J Trump are the only hope for remaining a constitutional republic.

NEVER FORGET: They are Rights enumerated to remind us and our government of our innate and indisputable liberties that are granted to us by our Creator, not our government; NEVER to be infringed or impinged upon by elected officials nor bureaucratic narcissists, ALWAYS as protection for We The People from tyranny and despotism at even the highest level of our hierarchical structure.
