Fact Checker Bias in Social Media

These days, especially if you’re a conservative, you will have experienced the social media fact checkers and BigTech censorship frequenting the supposed “platforms”. If you’re actively working on getting out the truth about current events, chances are the post will be fact checked for some insignificant piece of the article or flat out lied about, including truths that I have done research on directly to their original sources and know of their validity without a doubt in my mind.

BigTech uses companies like Snopes and Politico to decide what is truth or fact through their plethora of independent fact checkers. Many times fact checkers like Snopes “sources” LITERALLY prove their fact check to be in the wrong. It has occurred enough times that it has become my first stop to research my fact checking of fact checkers.

The Daily Wire did an excellent piece on the many mistakes and faux pas Snopes has had in their fact checking. Interestingly, when I went to click on the article claiming CNN used a washing machine to spin the news, it was not only removed from the Snopes website (which I expected), but also ‘excluded from the Wayback Machine’ web archives! You better believe if they correct a mistake they will do anything to keep you from finding out about it, including scrubbing the internet.

Not to say all fact checks are misleading, a site wouldn’t be able to convince anyone it is a reliable source if it wasn’t able to be mostly reliable (like their fact checks). These “independent fact checkers” fact check such a wide variety of posts on these sites that there is inevitably an endless amount of information that is objectively unbiased. I use them as sources all the time. I actually read their articles and all of the sources that go along with it (unless one of their sources undoubtedly dispels the claim) to form my own objective opinion on because many times they are using the new, progressive 2+2=5 math when I’m getting 2+2=4 no matter how I arrange the facts.

People are becoming so lackadaisical about passing out their fact check in the comments section of posts they don’t agree with; many times I can tell right away, they did not read it because the headline seemed to fit their narrative or their understanding of a situation, but ultimately the article and headline clashed.

I have also experienced the generic media bias check site lazily used as a wannabe source to prove their position on a specific issue. Yes, their source is merely informing me they believe the website I sourced is ‘biased’.

The way the fact checkers like Lead Stories do it lately is to “check facts” by omitting what they cant “disprove and twisting words, then assuming intent or perception of the author and reader; they say xyz was true, but its false or mostly false because ‘we’re claiming falsehoods on possible implications viewers took from it’.

Fact checkers used an article about a cyclone in West Bengal to “fact check” my link to a tweet from an Antifa group that was announcing a location they were planning on looting at the beginning of the 2020 George Floyd Riots. The post in its entirety was the link to the tweet.

I’ll end on this sample fact check that I created for your entertainment, and to put into perspective the lunacy of the Leftists fact checking machines.

Did you say you threw a red ball and it bounced back to you?

Claim:

You made the claim, “this is a red ball. I threw it at a wall, and it bounced back to me.”

Rating

What’s True:

It is a ball that is red, and it bounced back to you when you threw it at the wall.

What’s False:

Saying the red ball bounced back to you from off of a wall is painting a picture that the ball is a bouncy ball. The reader knows generally tennis balls arent red, so that information is left out to make one think the tennis ball was a much smaller bouncy ball which would have been much more difficult to catch.

Mostly false because the writer is incorrectly trying to imply they have more dexterity than others in an attempt to disparage less fortunate readers.

We are independent fact checkers, so we will always make sure to ask you for your money. You hate us for constantly censoring the truth that the mainstream media hides from the people; unfortunately for you, it’s a partisan world and you are just one person. Donate today to keep us lying to the American People.

Call to Action:

  • Get/stay INFORMED AND EDUCATED
  • Watch/read news from BOTH SIDES.
  • PROTECT your family and fellow Patriots
  • Engage in CIVIL DISCOURSE
  • REFUTE misinformation
  • DO NOT fall into the Third Party trap. Remember Ross Perot is how Clinton got elected.

This is a civil war between Communism and America. There is no more Democrat vs Republican right now. America needs to be united in the party of Patriots who believe in our constitution and the inherent right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

The radical Left has thrown their hail Mary, and we need to get our heads in the game and intercept that pass before it’s too late. Whether or not you believe Orange Man Bad, The Republicans who followed President Donald J Trump are the only hope for remaining a constitutional republic.

NEVER FORGET: They are Rights enumerated to remind us and our government of our innate and indisputable liberties that are granted to us by our Creator, not our government; NEVER to be infringed or impinged upon by elected officials nor bureaucratic narcissists, ALWAYS as protection for We The People from tyranny and despotism at even the highest level of our hierarchical structure.

This page is a conservative-leaning blog that takes the facts from current events and gives objective information as well as my opinion on those facts. I am not an expert in any field, nor do I claim to give expert advice, but I will try to get you all of the evidence-based information I can find.
