George C. Fareed, MD Brawley, California Michael M. Jacobs, MD, MPH Pensacola, Florida and Donald C. Pompan, MD Salinas, California wrote an extremely lengthy letter to Dr Fauci, dated the 12th of August, in regards to hydroxychloroquine.
If you’d like to read the letter in its entirety, which I highly recommend, you may do so here: https://www.globalresearch.ca/open-letter-dr-anthony-fauci-regarding-use-hydroxychloroquine-treating-covid-19/5721065.
The letter asks many questions that if answered, would expose the politicization of the banning of off-label use of hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19. You may or may not have been curious about some of these points yourself, including questioning why unprecedented actions have been taken in efforts to prevent the public from having access to this drug.
In their letter, these doctors make mention of Dr Harvey Risch, MD, PhD, a renowned epidemiologist and professor of epidemiology at Yale. He is one of many doctors who have voiced their concerns over the FDA keeping HCQ from We The People (see my article about Dr Risch). In May, Dr Risch wrote in the American Journal of Epidemiology an article titled “Early Outpatient Treatment of Symptomatic, High-Risk COVID-19 Patients that Should be Ramped-Up Immediately as Key to Pandemic Crisis”. He followed that in July with another article in Newsweek, again expressing his frustration with the FDA and NIH.
Dr Fareed previously wrote a letter to the Coronavirus Taskforce urging them to take another look at the proof in case studies showing that HCQ actually is successful in its use as a prophylactic for COVID-19 and in the first couple of days of symptoms. I wrote a short article with links to Dr Fareed’s letter.
All in all, it is unprecedented for the FDA to ban the use of an FDA approved drug, that has proven itself to be extremely safe over the past 65 years, for off-label use in only one specific treatment. It is unsettling the extent of political influence there is, swaying the advice of the experts who ultimately are whom the guidelines We The People must live by are based off of. It is wrong for there to be such interference in the doctor patient relationship.
I strongly encourage people to look through the studies linked below, read the articles about HCQ, and make informed decisions for themselves. If you are interested in using hydroxychloroquine as a prophylactic or early treatment in mild COVID-19, the America’s Frontline Doctors website has a link to their telemedicine where a doctor can legally prescribe it to you.
