The double standards these days are absolutely infuriating, especially when it comes to the radical Left and their communist infiltration into so many places in the nation. This is breakdown highlights the differences between the ways the media handled the events surrounding Kyle Rittenhouse and Jayvon Hatchett, one killed people attacking him and the other attacking a person specifically to murder him.
Jayvon Hatchett, a 19 year old violent felon of Columbus, Georgia, has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime after stabbing an employee of Autozone, on August 25th, for being white (caught on camera in the store).
At the time of the stabbing Hatchett was out on bail for criminal destruction of property, and he has previous convictions of aggravated assault on his record from barely 6 months prior to this event.
Hatchett said he, “felt the need to find a white man to kill,” assumingly stemming from the propaganda perpetuating a police brutality epidemic that he had been obsessing over. Jayvon, a young black male, went to the auto supply store by his home with the sole intention of committing murder.
He said he “felt compelled to kill a white man,” then requested a thermostat, and when 51 year old employee Mike turned away, he viciously and brutally stabbed him repeatedly 4 times in the neck and once in the back, hand, and arm. As quickly as he came, he was fleeing the scene.
Upon the arrival of the emergency responders, the victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition. From what I’ve read, though still not out of the woods yet, he is expected to survive this egregious attack.
Police were able to get people to identify him from the videos they put out to the public. When they came to arrest him, he eerily greeted them with a grin, eager to tell them his proud moment of that poor innocent victim of his racist violent rage attack being stabbed in the neck.

On the other hand, in Kenosha, Wisconsin later on in the night of that same day, Kyle Rittenhouse killed two and nearly maimed one antifa thug in self defense after being chased down by a mob, hit in the head by a skateboard, had an unknown projectile thrown at him, and was dropkicked in the face before nearly getting shot point blank in the head.
Rittenhouse was there to defend the town where he lifeguards because the police had their hands tied behind their backs during mass rioting. Kyle shot only assailants that were a threat to his life, yet is getting charged with six counts including felony 1st degree murder (all charges also have weapons enhancements) and possession of a dangerous weapon (confusing because I was under the impression that it isn’t illegal for a 17 year old to carry a long rifle in Wisconsin); he faces potential life in prison.
When the police aren’t protecting the businesses or citizens of a town you care about, what are you supposed to do? Watch it all burn for the 3rd day in a row? Stand by while people you know lose everything they’ve worked their entire lives for?
When you’re facing a mob, that chased you down and is known for beating people to near death, till what point are you supposed to wait to defend yourself?
What then when, in the fray there’s an assailant pointing a gun in your face? Because Kyle waited until precisely that moment only to be facing attempted intentional murder.
The partisan hacks of the mainstream media had already decided Kyle was guilty from the moment it happened, and started spreading misinformation about the situation to engrain their false narrative into the minds of We The People.
The media tries, even with all of the videos that show clear cut self defense, making Kyle out as a white supremacist there to hunt and murder peaceful black people. They argued that he was especially horrible for traveling all the way across state lines with a firearm; he lived in a rural town closeby in Illinois, and worked in Kenosha as a lifeguard.
It is not illegal to travel with your firearm as long as you adhere to the laws of the state you are currently in. They claimed he murdered in cold blood, though he didnt go there with the intention to kill anyone, nor did he shoot anyone other than those who endangered his life. He was there to defend himself and others, also doubling as a medic for both BLM rioters and the town’s new militia.
Also, as a noteworthy show of character, Kyle Rittenhouse was photographed earlier in the day cleaning graffiti off city walls. He could have fired recklessly towards the direction of his assailants, and instead impressively retained the presence of mind you’d expect from a soldier, even clearing his gun of a jam a split second before being eye to eye with a loaded handgun.
Jayvon on the other hand, went to Autozone with the premeditated intent to murder specifically a white man, yet only faces felony aggravated assault and a weapons charge?
That’s it? Not even “attempt 1st degree intentional homicide” or something equivalent to that like Kyle is charged with (for shooting a man in the arm who was about to blow his brains out)? I know Georgia has different laws about hate crimes, and I’m not sure if there’s an actual charge as much as a sentencing enhancement so I wont make any suppositions about its lack of presence in his charges.
